Besmirched male honor ends in a gruesome murder:  Puccini’s gem "Il Tabarro" (The Cloak) is unprecedented in his long body of stage works. Marek Janowski counts this brief opera among his favorites, conducting the Dresdner Philharmonie joined by American soloists Melody Moore, Brian Jagde, and Lester Lynch, together with the men of the MDR-Rundfunkchor.
