After nearly having to abandon this project due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is with gratitude and jubilation that we offer our Dresden recording of "Fidelio" as a wonderful belated gift for Beethoven's 250th birthday. The studio production with Lise Davidsen, Christian Elsner, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Christina Landshamer, Georg Zeppenfeld, Cornel Frey and Günther Groissböck, among others, is conducted by Marek Janowski.
